FLIGHT TRANSPORTATION
- PAID FLIGHT TO BUSINESS LOCATION: Once the TN Visa is approved and the offer of employment is accepted, we will pay upfront the cost of the airplane ticket to Michigan. If driving, the employer may pay for hotel accommodation. These expenses will be then deducted from your pay spread over the first 8 pay checks.

WORKPLACE TRANSPORTATION

JOB INCENTIVES
- WORKER COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Yes
- 401K: Yes, eligible to participate in the company's 401k plan the first month following 60 days of employment. A per pay discretionary match provided by the Company of up to 3% of 6% total employee gross contributions. You will be automatically enrolled at 6% with a company match of 3% but can change upon eligibility.
- LIFE INSURANCE: The Company pays the premium for a life insurance policy, valued at ten thousand dollars ($10,000) the first of the month following full time employment.
- HEALTHCARE INSURANCE: The TN Visa employee is eligible to participate in the company's health insurance coverage first of the month following the date of hire.
- We offer a health plan through Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Michigan. This covers medical dental and vision coverage. This plan is designed for local and international coverage should you have a spouse or dependent’s that need access to healthcare internationally or for when you may travel. The cost for coverage ranges from approximately $55 – $275 per month depending on plan size and number of family members covered. The employee is only responsible for 15% of the cost of this coverage. The employer pays 85%. You will be e subject to an insurance deductible and copay for certain services with the coverage. The cost per employee and family may change each year when there is open enrollment. Our benefit year is November 1st – October 31st. Once someone obtains health insurance, it cannot be changed until the following year during open enrollment. The only exception is if there is a life changing event like when a spouse or family no longer has insurance and needs to be added.
- ADDITIONAL INSURANCES. Additional insurances like voluntary life, voluntary shortterm disability, voluntary accident, and voluntary critical illness are offered with employee contribution. See attached weekly Employee Contribution worksheet for current rates. Rates and offerings are subject to change at Open Enrollment in October 2024. These are optional insurances that the employee may purchase if wanted. The life, short-term disability, accident, and critical illness are voluntary insurance offerings available to the employee only and are paid for by the employee if they want it.
- PAID HOLIDAYS: Immediately eligible for paid holidays. Paid holidays are New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Christmas Eve.
- PAID TIME OFF: A two-week annualized accrual assignment of Paid Time Off (PTO) per our normal company accrual and usage policy.

- TECHNOLOGY. Company will provide an-email account and needed technology equipment. Company will provide a company cell phone for company use or a $30/month phone reimbursement as following the Company's accountable reimbursement plan (phone bills submitted quarterly).
HOUSING
- HOUSING OPTION: Three months of housing provided at a house located 2 miles away from the place of employment. *** It is the responsibility of the employee to secure permanent housing. Some administrative help may be available in securing long-term housing options.
- RENT PER PERSON: Free to the employee for the first 3 months. Housing will be added as a taxable fringe benefit in the amount of $140 per week, while being provided by the employer. This does not add to or reduce your regular compensation; however, the value of the housing ($140 per week) will be added into your required payable state and federal income taxes. The individual should look for permanent housing and if time is needed beyond 3 months, then the employee will pay rent of A) House $140 per week for the room at the house, after the 3 months.

- DISTANCE HOUSING TO WORKPLACE: A) House: location is 2 miles from workplace.
- DISCIPLINE WORDING: Members can stay in this housing if they are employed by the employer. If they separate with the employer, they need to vacate with 24 hours. Housing rules of no smoking or vaping indoors, no pets, no drugs, no guests after 11:00 pm (without written permission), responsible for cleaning own room and shared responsibility in cleaning common shared areas like laundry, living area, kitchen area, etc. $250 fine for smoking or vaping in rooms. Must follow housing rules and employee handbook.
STANDARD EXPENSES THE COMPANY WILL BE REIMBURSING IF THE VISA IS APPROVED:
1- TN Visa Consular Application oReimbursement of the Consular Appointment Fee of $185 if approved and once you have worked 90 days. oReimbursement of the Reciprocity Fee of $382 that is charged after your Visa is approved and once you have worked 90 days.
2. Change of Employer o Flight to the CBP’s Port of Entry, from the recruitment place. Since workers are not incurring in Consular and Reciprocity Fees.
The employer will reimburse the expenses after a period of 3 months upon start of employment, and the employee must be in good standing. Also, employees must turn in receipts upon arrival. ___________________________________________________________
