Associate Director, HCP Marketing - RINVOQ RA - Lake County, IL

Lead the development and execution of HCP professional marketing strategic initiatives across RINVOQ in Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), ranging from RA specific to broader cross-functional Rheumatology portfolio focused initiatives.  The role will serve as the subject matter expert for the Brand Team and will be highly integrated with internal cross functional partners on a regular basis (including Sales, Medical, HEOR, Market Access, Patient Services, BTS, Digital Lab).  This role develops and leads effective HCP marketing strategies that are impactful, executable by Sales partners, easily communicated, and clinically/financially supported for areas of responsibility (product, indication, channel, marketing mix, etc.).   

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to lead without authority as well as lead direct reports, have an innovative mindset to advance ways of working across large teams, be competent in managing multiple projects and developing and delivering presentations to Immunology leadership.   

Responsibilities: 

• Co-create with Rheumatology counterparts, as well as IBT partners, business leaders and internal cross functional partners to build, manage and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goals including patients’, market and financial results. 
• Drive and participate in business and marketing plans process. 
• Demonstrates and utilizes holistic understanding of financial planning. 
• Lead and manage teams and external partnerships. 
• Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results. 
• Grow brand/product penetration, share and awareness. 
• Direct and manage projects including execution of marketing plans, initiatives and tasks. 
• Agency relations and management  

• Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred. 
• 5+ years of biopharmaceutical marketing experience, HCP marketing experience required, Immunology leadership preferred 
• Excellent communication skills with proven past experiences in writing Strategic documents  
• Strong collaboration and team orientation, with experience accomplishing results through others and by influencing others 
• Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in marketing skills. 
• Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.   
• Foundational understanding of US Market Access helpful
