Job Description
Oversees product compliance management activities across Southeast Asia (SEA), including regions such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and India. Collaborates with regulatory service providers to ensure adherence to standards in product testing, labeling, and registration. Implements comprehensive safety and compliance strategies that align with A&F’s corporate objectives for expanding into new markets.
What Will You Be Doing?
•Conduct detailed research and analysis of SEA product compliance regulations to support initiatives for market entry.
•Collaborate with third-party partners to ensure timely preparation and submission of data for registrations and certifications in SEA.
•Monitor and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for emerging regulatory requirements across SEA markets.
•Educate cross-functional teams (e.g., Sourcing Operations, Planning, Development, Legal) on the business implications of legislative updates.
•Notify the Regulatory Manager of market surveillance inquiries from government authorities, provide critical insights, and recommend actionable solutions.
•Represent the regulatory department in strategic business development meetings during seasonal planning cycles.
•Develop and implement internal processes and protocols to sustain operational efficiency post-market entry.
What Do You Need To Bring?
•Bachelor degree for textile, apparel engineering and other related majors are preferred.
•Five years of related experience preferred.
•Strong cross-functional communication skills in both excellent spoken and written English preferred.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Strong sense of responsibility, detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, working independently
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
