This job is located at our APAC Home Office Shanghai, China.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Accountable for the execution of complex pricing and promotions activities across APAC’s multiple channels and markets (China, Hong Kong & Japan) to achieve financial goals
- Gatekeeper of pricing matrix to include updating/adding/removing price points including any reticketing activities
- Build and maintain strong partnership with Merchandising, Planning, Visual, Marketing, Legal, Direct-To-Consumer and Store teams both in-region and at the Global Home Office to drive omnichannel alignment on promotions and pricing
- Lead and Coordinate pricing and promotional strategies with Merchandise Planning and DTC Operations teams ensuring our legal compliance
- Manage the APAC Promotional/Floor set calendar and meeting all required deadlines for flawless execution of the business
- Manage and coordinate promotional/category sign requests with Marketing teams
- Review and audit all pricing communication documents on a weekly basis
- Build pre-season promotional planning calendar capturing market nuances
- Following each season, execute a detailed hindsight process to inform/recommend future promotional strategies and pricing execution options
- Liaison to Global Home Office Promo & Pricing Teams by representing the APAC point of view as company process evolves
- Lead, manage and train multiple direct reports
- Ability to think on your feet, adjusting to business requests to drive sales
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor's degree or University undergraduate equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
- 8+ years of pricing or communications experience with a successful track record in corporate retail environment preferred
- Must possess understanding of business processes and ability to solve complex problems
- Analytically driven with proven critical thinking & problem-solving abilities
- Project oriented with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, and multi-tasking skills
- Team-oriented with strong leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Aptitude to learn and execute complex pricing systems
- A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brand
