QA Manager
Full Time (Five days of in-person work at the New Rochelle, New York office)

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned QA Manager to lead and optimize the full lifecycle of digital content production for our fast-growing EdTech platform. This role is critical in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, learner-focused content that aligns with educational standards and brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Production Strategy & Execution: Own and drive the digital content production roadmap aligned with business and academic goals. Oversee the entire production lifecycle—including planning, production, quality assurance, and publishing. Supervise the development of digital learning assets such as eBooks, simulations, and interactive modules. Ensure all content meets high production standards, is educationally sound, and learner-centric.
Team & Resource Management (Mandatory): Build, lead, and manage a high-performing, cross-functional team comprising in-house staff, freelancers, and vendors. Demonstrate strong leadership in assigning roles, managing workloads, and setting clear expectations. Hire, train, and evaluate team members and ensure adherence to established processes and standards. Effectively manage resources across simultaneous projects to ensure operational efficiency.
Project & Budget Oversight: Lead content production planning and execution using Agile or similar project management methodologies. Track project milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery. Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep production on track.
Quality Assurance & Optimization: Define and maintain strict QA standards for all digital content deliverables. Conduct quality reviews and collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues proactively. Implement process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between creative, editorial, and technical teams. Ensure clear, ongoing communication with stakeholders on project timelines, feedback, and expectations. Provide regular progress updates and performance reports to leadership.
Performance Tracking & Innovation: Analyze learner engagement and feedback to improve production and content quality. Stay informed of industry trends and technologies to enhance the production process. Introduce innovative tools and methods to boost content creation and delivery efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in digital content production. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on team management experience leading diverse production teams. Extensive experience with multi-format educational content for digital platforms. Strong understanding of:o Fixed layout ePubs, Read Aloud eBooks.o CMI5 player and authoring to olso PDF to fixed-layout ePub conversion.o HTML, CSS, JavaScript Proficient in digital content production tools and platforms. Familiarity with LMS platforms and principles of digital pedagogy. Strong understanding of accessibility standards, localization, and SEO best practices. Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments. Background in K–12, higher education, or workforce development platforms. Knowledge of eLearning standards such as SCORM, xAPI, and CMI5.
