Role Overview:
As our Expert WordPress Developer, you’ll leverage your deep expertise in WordPress, React, PHP, and advanced web development practices to create and enhance high-performing websites. You’ll ensure our digital platform operates seamlessly, is fully optimized for search engines, and delivers an outstanding user experience that positions our firm as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins, pushing the limits of WordPress capabilities.
• Integrate React.js components to create dynamic, fast, and responsive user interfaces.
• Ensure optimal performance and SEO best practices across all websites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve website issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage and optimize website security, updates, backups, and overall health.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to ensure alignment of technical capabilities with strategic goals.
• Implement rigorous QA procedures to guarantee cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Deep understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and web accessibility.
• Proven ability to build and customize WordPress themes and plugins extensively.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, headless CMS integrations, and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Strong grasp of SEO principles and website optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Skills:
• Previous experience developing websites specifically within the legal industry, preferably personal injury law.
• Familiarity with performance optimization tools such as GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, and Lighthouse.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and hosting environments such as AWS or managed WordPress hosting services.
