Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: London, UK
About us:
Adzuna is a job search engine that lists every job, everywhere. From its launch in the UK in 2011, we now have more than 10 million visitors a month and are busy conquering the world from our office in West London, helping millions of people find better, more fulfilling jobs.
The role:
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to our CFO / Senior Finance Manager and working closely with the wider team you will be responsible for key parts of the finance function, supporting our fast growing scale-up business across multiple geographies and business segments. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the commercial function within a growing technology business as well as the day to day functioning of a startup finance team.
You will be primarily responsible for our invoicing process across our entities in the UK, US, France and Australia, chasing and collecting payments from customers. You will play a key role in our monthly reporting cycle, taking responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations and monthly management accounting and reporting. You will also work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer and Strategy Manager, running the commissions process across our entities and getting involved in analytical and commercial projects.
The business has ambitious growth plans, having recently completed the acquisition of Seiza, so there are opportunities waiting for you to get involved across the business and develop your skills and knowledge. We are a small team so you will be exposed to a variety of areas including the invoicing and debtors cycle, commission schemes, supporting our strategic plans, budgeting, management reporting and analysis, annual audit and statutory accounts, and driving efficiencies across the business.
This is a great opportunity to learn the skills of company accounting whilst working in a small team who have the experience and time to really help you grow.
Key responsibilities:
