Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Reporting Specialist to be based in Fresno, CA.

SUMMARY: 

The Reporting Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in the form of reports to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. This role involves the creation of accurate, timely, and insightful reports for various departments, ensuring that data is organized, well-documented, and easily accessible. The Reporting Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining reporting systems and tools, ensuring that the information generated is relevant and meets business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in the development of all cost estimates for the program from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates
  • Facilitate the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all applicable parties
  • Support the review of contractor estimates and claims
  • Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating
  • Compile data from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide insights into key business metrics
  • Tailor reports to meet the specific needs of all applicable parties
  • Automate regular reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
  • Implement data validation and quality control procedures to maintain high data quality standards

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • BA/BS + 8 yeas of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of experience reporting, data analysis, or relevant field
  • Knowledge of change management, financing, project controls, and reporting techniques
  • Skilled in using analytical techniques to provide solutions
  • Proven capacity to meet deadlines consistently
  • Effective in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Committed to following and adhering to company policies
  • Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and cost management software
  • Experience with infrastructure and civil construction projects disciplines
  • Experience with change management and project management
