How you'll make a difference:

• Lead the design and analysis of complex marine structures, including wharves, jetties, and offshore platforms, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, drafters, and designers, to deliver high-quality solutions for ports and marine infrastructure projects.
• Engage with internal and external clients to understand project requirements, provide technical guidance, and contribute to key stakeholder discussions.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to engineering best practices while managing risks and challenges.
• Support business growth by contributing to proposals, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated with advancements in marine structural engineering.

The qualities that help you thrive:

• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in Maritime Infrastructure Projects (design and/or construction) – essential.
• Experience working for an engineering design consultancy – highly regarded.
• Desirable knowledge in marine structures, refurbishment, port operations, geotechnical aspects, and coastal engineering.
• Proficiency in SpaceGass analysis software or Strand 7 for structural analysis.
• Local WA experience preferred for familiarity with regional projects and regulations.
