AHRC New York City is seeking a Full Time Social Worker to work in the agency’s Department of Family and Clinical Services. The Department of Family and Clinical Services operates two primary outpatient clinics in Manhattan and the Bronx and provides services at satellite locations and telehealth throughout the 5 boroughs. Our team comprises psychologists, social workers, and rehab service professionals who have a passion for their work. Under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the Social Worker will provide psychosocial assessment and psychotherapy treatment for the Developmental Disabilities population.
Psychotherapy is provided for persons with Developmental Disabilities who have a co-occurring psychiatric condition. Psychotherapy is conducted with diverse clients across their lifespans, including children/adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Collateral counseling is provided for their families. Behavioral, CBT, Psychodynamic, Systemic, and DBT techniques are used.
Salary: $48,000-$65,000 per year plus a comprehensive Benefit package. See Benefit information below.
