Design Execution Quality Assurance Officer

AHS is looking for a proactive Design Execution Quality Assurance Officer to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout our design execution processes. This role is crucial in overseeing and assessing the quality of architectural and engineering designs to align with project specifications and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with design teams to implement quality assurance practices and contribute to the successful delivery of our luxury real estate projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess design documents, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes for design execution, identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular quality audits on design submissions, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to facilitate effective communication and quality alignment.
• Document findings from inspections and audits, developing detailed reports for management and project stakeholders.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with design teams.
• Provide training and guidance to design personnel on quality assurance best practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, codes, and best practices related to design quality assurance.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of the quality assurance framework for design processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within design execution (3-5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of design standards, codes, and regulations applicable to architectural and engineering projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with design software and project management tools.
• Certifications in quality management or relevant areas are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites for inspections as necessary.
