Marketing Project Manager

A rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial technology company, Alarm.com, seeks a motivated Project Manager supporting our Marketing team, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, the Project Manager will report to the marketing team and effectively manage a variety of projects. This role is perfect for candidates who are extremely organized and process-oriented. This position is ideal for a candidate who has high attention to detail, prides themselves on process improvement, and communicates effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities 

• Support Marketing team by coordinating multiple marketing projects for Alarm.com venture business units (VBUs); overseeing deliverables, timelines, and expectations for stakeholders. Support Marketing team to properly scope, map, and execute product launch plans. • Create, manage, and maintain Jira tickets for all deliverables, identifying blockers and items for follow-up and managing their resolution.
•  Facilitate communication across the Marketing team, VBUs, and other Alarm.com departments to ensure alignment; proactively identifying and resolving schedule dependencies, risks, and prioritization conflicts.Establish and measure project milestones; effectively prioritizing deliverables and managing cross-project dependencies to meet delivery goals.
• Maintain and communicate project status to internal and external project stakeholders.
• Create and maintain single-source-of-truth documentation for marketing projects.
• Analyze current Marketing team project management processes, make recommendations for improvements, and support team in their implementation.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or project management disciplines.
• 2-4 years of hands-on project management or cross-functional marketing experience. Agency experience is a plus.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in tech-related marketing.
• Comfort in a fast-paced team environment, collaborating across multiple teams (sales, creative, and product management); customer service mentality with a willingness to resolve issues completely.
• Takes pride in organizational skills, and demonstrates desire for process improvement.
• Proactive communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position requires understanding and coordinating a complex project suite across many teams.
•  Ability to context switch, desire to learn, willingness to be flexible.
•  Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
