Job Description

Start your Safety career as an Office Assistant, where you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Manager and broader Safety team. This is a rewarding role where you are a critical part of a high-performing team, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders within a fast-paced environment to ensure the efficient day to day running of the Safety team. This is a full-time permanent position.

What does the role look like?  

  • Manage the shared inbox
  • Coordinate and take minutes for meetings
  • WHS IT and Payroll systems portal administrative duties
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with processing and coding invoices
  • Assist with safety document control and management as directed
  • Assist all Safety team members with BAU administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in workplace safety and Injury management / prevention
  • Knowledge of NSW and QLD WHS legislation 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Effective professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail whilst maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role is highly desirable
  • Experience in data entry and dataset management is favourable
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly in Excel.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $76,800 - $84,300 including Superannuation
