We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Shop Team at Aldinger Co, a leading calibration services provider.
Our Team of Calibration Technicians is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibrating various measuring devices and instruments across multiple fields.
As a Calibration Lab Technician, you will work out of our Dallas, Tx office to calibrate various equipment across differing fields. You will be responsible for performing routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.
The ideal candidate comes from a mechanical or technical background with exposure to calibration procedures. However, experience in our industry is not required and training will be provided upon hire. Making this position suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience.
Location: On-site at our Dallas, TX office.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate and timely calibrations in our shop.
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO17025.
- Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
- Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Working directly with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to the completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed.
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.

Basic Qualifications:
- Able to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
- Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly
- Experience working in a technical or mechanical position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Experience working with Manufacturers Quality Systems
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
