Shipping and Receiving Coordinator (ITI)

We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our Instrument Technologies, Inc. team, an Accredited Labs company! 

As our Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of shipping and receiving at our Boise, ID office. You will be responsible for handling, documenting, and coordinating all logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all packages remain organized and secure.  

This is a high impact role as the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator’s contributions are crucial to the efficiency and functionality of our operations and you will be closely partnering and collaborating with all departments, to ensure smooth operations and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.

Day to Day Responsibilities: 

• Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the shipment and receipt of all goods, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments
• Delivery: Safely pick up and deliver customer equipment in Boise, ID and surrounding areas
• Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents required for the transport of goods both domestically 
• Coordination: Work closely with the laboratory team to coordinate and prioritize shipments
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to shipping and receiving practices
• Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the shipping and receiving area, adhering to company policies and safety standards
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or lost shipments as well as discrepancies in orders

Basic Qualifications: 

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance 
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and administrative skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently 
• Excellent customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

Nice to Have: 

• Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
• Familiar with shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager)
• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate

• Experience with IndySoft
