What We're Looking For
We're seeking a creative, self-starting intern who’s excited to gain hands-on experience in branding, digital content, and marketing communications. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys storytelling through design and writing, is detail-oriented, and is eager to learn how marketing supports a growing organization. You’ll work closely with the business owners and marketing lead and play a key role in shaping how families and staff experience our brand, both online and in person.

Location
Our offices are located in Bedford Heights, Ohio, but remote work may be possible.
Internship Duration

Responsibilities
- Brand Development: Work together on a brand refresh initiative to establish visual identity, tone, and messaging across various platforms.
- Social Media Content: Strategize, compose, and schedule posts for our Instagram and Facebook accounts across all centers, making sure they reflect our dynamic brand voice.
- Graphic Design: Design appealing, brand-consistent visuals for social media posts, flyers, newsletters, and internal documents using Canva and other creative tools.
- Website Support: Contribute to the creation of a new company website, which includes writing content, planning layouts, and exploring AI-driven tools to aid design.
- Content Strategy: Assist in developing monthly blog posts, staff newsletters, event materials, and marketing kits for our centers.
- Engagement Projects: Investigate community event opportunities and aid in the planning of local campaigns and promotions targeted at families.
- Project Organization: Facilitate the management of content calendars, brand asset repositories, and communication tracking across multiple locations.
Key Projects
- Brand Identity Refresh: Contribute to defining our updated brand personality, visual guidelines, and core messaging.
- Website Relaunch: Help plan and populate a modern, family-friendly company website using collaborative AI and no-code tools.
- Center Marketing Kits: Build reusable content and templates to help center directors promote events and initiatives.
- Social Engagement Strategy: Maintain a consistent publishing cadence, analyze post performance, and recommend improvements.
- Internal Communication: Support the development of an engaging monthly newsletter for our team across all centers.

- Proficient with Technology: Experienced in utilizing Canva, Google Workspace, and various digital tools for content planning and publishing.
- Brand Awareness: Understands brand identity, visual consistency, and storytelling across digital and print platforms.
- Detail-Oriented: Diligently tracks deadlines, organizes shared files, and proofreads content meticulously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
