Data Analytics MS Intern

OVERVIEW

Join us this summer for an immersive 8-week internship designed for data-driven problem solvers who want to make a tangible impact. As a Data Science & Analytics Intern at Alo Yoga, you will work on high-impact analytical projects that shape strategic decision-making across marketing, merchandise, and digital experience. Through hands-on experience with statistical modeling, predictive analysis, and business intelligence tools, you will extract actionable insights and present findings to senior leadership. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, implement your data insights to real business decision, and help optimize Alo's customer experience and business performance. This is an ideal opportunity for those eager to translate data into meaningful business solutions while gaining exposure to analytics-driven strategy in a fast-paced digital environment.

The Alo internship programs starts June 9th and ends August 1st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with key stakeholders to help solve data analysis problems, contributing to real business decisions.
• Provide clear and actionable insights through data analytics, helping senior management make informed decisions.
• Collect and analyze data related to customer behavior, marketing campaigns, merchandise, and digital experiences.
• Support reporting and database management and analytical engineering.
• Apply basic statistical methods, data analysis techniques, and problem-solving skills to answer questions and support business strategies.
• Collaborate with teams across marketing, merchandise, and digital experience to apply learnings and drive results.
• Gain exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, R and Tableau to support data analysis.
• Help manage the demands of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
• Perform other tasks and assist with various projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Are currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Statistics, Math, Economics, or any related field with a focus on data and analysis.
• Are curious and eager to learn—no prior work experience needed, just a passion for data and solving problems!
• Have a natural curiosity to dive deep into data, uncover patterns, and provide insights that impact real business decisions.
• Are comfortable using basic data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.) and are eager to learn more.
• Are a problem-solver who enjoys working through challenges and finding creative solutions.
• Have good communication skills and can clearly present your findings to others.
• Are detail-oriented, ensuring your analysis is accurate and well-organized.
• Enjoy working with diverse teams and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Have a general interest in fashion and shopping (a plus, but not required!)

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
