Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in New Orleans. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and physical stamina to perform warehouse tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and organize inventory in the warehouse

• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock rotation

• Ensure proper labeling and storage of products

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks

• Perform routine warehouse maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if trained)

• Report any discrepancies in inventory or equipment malfunctions to management

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker or in a similar role preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks

• Basic math skills for inventory tracking

• Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is a plus

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
