The opportunity

Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire a Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst, focusing on revenue analysis and forecasting, to join our growing Finance Organization. In this role, you will produce product by product financial models, analyze diverse revenue streams, identify revenue trends relative to market conditions, and provide key insights to support product development, financial forecasting, and strategic decision-making. 

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise to drive decision-making and company growth. If you have a strong background in finance and a deep interest in partnering with product leaders and providing market analysis and peer benchmarking, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact at a uniquely growing company.

Your impact

  • Partner with the product team to build long and short term financial and ROI models to inform and prioritize product roadmaps.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of all revenue streams, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Identify market changes and assess their potential impact on various revenue streams, informing strategic adjustments where necessary.
  • Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Conduct market analysis and peer benchmarking to ensure our revenue strategies remain competitive and aligned with industry trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, sales, accounting, and other teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive revenue reports to senior management, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities, along with potential ways to influence outcomes.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a focus on revenue performance.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of revenue forecasting processes and financial modeling techniques.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed by the Finance team and senior leadership.

What you bring

  • Experience - 5+ years of experience working in Finance or Accounting with a focus on revenue analysis, preferably for a B2B financial services or FinTech organization
    • Strong background in financial modeling, market analysis, and peer benchmarking.
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Proven ability to work with large data sets and deliver accurate financial insights.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Education - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy with Excel and have utilized modern financial planning software (e.g., Mosaic, Hyperion, SAP, etc.)

    • Experience in the brokerage finance industry, investment banking, top-tier consulting, private equity and / or fintech
    • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA)

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs) for eligible roles. For salaried positions, a salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically in conjunction with performance review cycles.
