Hello, we are AMBOSS and looking for a Sales Manager to join our International Market team!

About AMBOSS

AMBOSS is a learning and clinical decision support tool striving to empower physicians across the globe to provide the best possible care. Our founders set out in 2011 to create a tool they would have hoped to have as medical students and doctors. Since then we have grown to currently operate in 180 countries and have gained immense traction in Germany and the US. Currently, we are pursuing this mission with more than 500+ employees in our offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari.

Why can this position be exciting for you?

As a Sales Manager in MENA, you will drive increased revenue by managing successful B2B sales processes, from initial outreach to deal closures, while strengthening AMBOSS's market position by building relationships with key institutional partners and individual users. You will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency by ensuring timely follow-up on inbound leads and maintaining consistent communication throughout the sales cycle. By expanding the AMBOSS user base, you will create new growth opportunities across institutional and individual markets.

Your efforts will also foster cross-departmental collaboration, enabling marketing, medical, and sales teams to align on outreach strategies and deliver cohesive campaigns. Additionally, you will contribute to enhanced customer retention by demonstrating the value of AMBOSS during trials and post-purchase stages, driving long-term satisfaction and engagement.

You will:

  • B2B Lead generation: You will develop, analyze, and manage a sales pipeline of clinics, hospitals, and institutions within your region. Also represent AMBOSS at conferences and build a strong network with decision-makers at hospitals and academic institutions.
  • Manage sales cycles: You will lead negotiations with key stakeholders, preparing for and conducting impactful sales discussions. In the end, you’ll prepare tailored offers and coordinate sales efforts in alignment with AMBOSS’s goals and market conditions.
  • Business development: You’ll research, document, and share insights on market trends, regional needs, and competitor activities in academic and clinical medicine, as well as in EdTech. And onsite, you’ll understand the needs of hospitals and residency programs, identifying opportunities for AMBOSS to support their training and teaching objectives.
  • Cross functional collaboration: You’ll work alongside marketing, medical, and sales teams to develop cohesive campaigns and outreach strategies. Together you’ll activate channels such as guided discoveries, webinars, and social media to generate new leads.

You bring: 

  • You have a licensed medical degree.
  • You are a native Arabic speaker with business fluency in English.
  • You have strong communication skills, can adapt your language to persuade diverse stakeholders, and are comfortable presenting ideas effectively.
  • Interest or experience in sales, outreach, or business development roles, preferably within the healthcare or EdTech sector.
  • Enthusiasm for presenting AMBOSS at local conferences and sharing your passion with residents, faculty members, librarians, and even deans.
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational and time management capabilities to keep track of multiple parallel projects.
  • An interest in exploring behind the scenes to understand processes and needs (e.g. hospital budgeting and how to negotiate confidently).
  • Flexibility for traveling and enjoy working in high-paced environments.
