ANA is growing and seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada. The Inventory Control Supervisor will ensure the accuracy of inventory within our ERP system across the supply chain network. This role involves identifying process improvements, conducting daily analysis to resolve inventory issues, and managing the daily movement of goods while adhering to inventory control principles.
The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 7:00am- 4:00pm.
This role reports to the Inventory Control Manager.
Role & Responsibilities:- Team Leadership and Development: Manage the Inventory Control team by setting clear objectives, prioritizing tasks, and providing mentorship through team building activities, training and KPI metrics. Foster a positive effective team environment that encourages collaboration, partnership and continuous improvement in both your assigned warehouse and the network.
- Daily Cycle Counts: Supervise the cycle count process, to ensure counts are created, reconciled, and posted in Business Central correctly and within the required 24-hour timeframe to support on-time delivery as well as daily production demands.
- Transaction Management: Ensure all day-to-day inventory related operations are executed correctly and in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to shipping and receiving, put away, warehouse transfers, assembly consumption and all material movement in and out of the ERP system, Business Central. Supervise and support the timely investigation and resolution of any material discrepancies to minimize disruption to operations.
- Material Review Board (MRB) Support: Actively partner with the Quality team by attending MRB meetings and by leading your team in the identification and resolution of all obsolete, slow-moving, and excess inventory by using proven and established methods.
- Audit Preparation: Oversee and assist with the preparation of your assigned warehouse for annual audits by maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with all inventory control related procedures to facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Physical Inventory Management: Lead, organize and coordinate the execution of daily, monthly and end of year physical inventory counts. This includes preparatory counts, KPI metrics for bin accuracy, the consolidation of physical inventory, and the reporting of final inventory status to management for your assigned warehouse.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and IT teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives. Facilitate regular communication and updates to ensure all teams are informed of inventory status and any issues.
- End-of-Month Closing: Ensure all inventory related transactions, inventory adjustments and movements are finalized by the end of month closing deadlines. Prepare necessary documentation and reports to support accurate financial reporting.
- Reporting and Analysis: Publish weekly and monthly reports detailing cycle count accuracy, discrepancies, and inventory trends. Analyze data to identify patterns and provide actionable insights to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Support: Collaborate with S&OP teams to ensure inventory levels align with demand forecasts. Provide input on inventory strategies to achieve company financial goals while minimizing excess stock.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory control practices. Explore new technologies and methodologies to streamline inventory management and reduce errors.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to inventory control principles and company policies. Promote best practices in inventory management and provide training to staff on compliance and operational standards.
- Inventory Liquidation Management: Develop strategies for the effective liquidation of surplus or obsolete inventory. Work with sales and marketing teams to create promotions or discounts that facilitate the timely removal of excess stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience specifically in Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management, or a related field within a product-based ERP system and WMS system
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse operation is preferred but not required
- A four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or three to five years of relevant inventory management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and Look-up functions), Word, and Outlook; experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with daily communication to the Inventory Control Team regarding results and plans

$70,000 - $80,000 a year
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - 80,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
