Data Operations Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and solution-oriented professional with expertise in data science, data warehousing, and AWS data-related services. The ideal candidate should have strong technical capabilities, proactive communication skills, and the ability to lead projects from a technical perspective. This role involves working closely with clients and teams across different geographies and requires flexibility to work on US hours.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Write Python scripts for data processing and packaging based on project requirements.
  • Work on data science and analytics projects, providing data-driven insights.
  • Design and implement data warehousing solutions (preferably using AWS).
  • Utilize AWS services such as RDS, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda for data management and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with teams to provide technical solutions and recommendations.
  • Lead projects from the technical end, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
  • Work effectively with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Explore and execute automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Encourage and implement work involving automation technologies, including leveraging large language models (LLMs) where applicable.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment across geographies.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data science and analytics is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (RDS, Redshift, Athena, Lambda).
  • Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and solutions.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and their applications is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Git and GitHub for version control.
  • Proactive communication skills with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to lead and manage technical projects.
  • Flexibility to work in US hours and adapt to project timelines.


Preferred Experience:
  • Proven track record of leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in training teams to uplift technical skills and capabilities.
  • Experience implementing automation solutions in projects.
