The Team:

  • An international team (British, French, German, Italian, Portuguese…) with complementary education and experience in the investment, medical, scientific, strategic and operational sectors
  • Composed of alumni from: INSEAD, Berkeley, Georgetown, Bocconi, HEC Paris, Ponts et Chaussées, ESSEC, Imperial College, Dartmouth, etc.
  • Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i, Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings, capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik, Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary

Position overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our IT team in New York City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of our IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves providing technical support, managing IT processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and reliability in our technology environment. You will be the main contact for the US Office and will be fully integrated with the IT Team based in FR. This position will report to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

  • System and application management
    • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS) and business applications (e.g., MS Office 365, cloud tools).
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT infrastructure.
    • Oversee software and hardware updates to ensure system reliability.
  • Technical support
    • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to internal users.
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Deliver high-quality customer service through multiple channels (ticketing systems, email, phone).
    • Managing the device’s fleet for the US Office (following spares, ordering new devices).
  • Process optimization
    • Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Participate in strategic IT projects (e.g., cloud migrations, network security improvements).
    • Monitor system performance to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaboration and training
    • Work closely with IT Team and the other sectors to improve IT processes.
    • Train end-users on new tools or technologies as needed.
  • Technical skills
    • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS).
    • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Experience with ITIL-based tools for incident, problem, and change management.
    • Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for task automation.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Soft skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering effective solutions.
