Software Developer Intern - Corporate Systems

This one-year Software Developer Internship provides an opportunity to develop technology and client service skills at a world class investment management firm. Key areas of technical focus will include application support and development, business analysis, requirements definition and project coordination. As a Software Developer Intern on the Corporate Systems Application team, your responsibilities will be diverse and commensurate with demonstrated proficiency and experience. This year-round internship requires full-time in office hours during the summer of 2025 and 15-20 hours per week in the 2025-26 school year.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

The candidate can expect to:

• Assist with development and maintenance of custom built applications
• Support and help troubleshoot current application codebases
• Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned with demonstrated proficiency

  • AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, among others
  • Object oriented languages such as Java or C#. Spring Framework knowledge a plus
  • Collaboration software like Slack, Confluence, among others
  • Microsoft SQL, DynamoDB
  • Scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
  • Web technologies: JavaScript/Frameworks, Node.js, among others
