Today, we are advancing programs in Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology. In addition, we collaborate with partners around the world on the development of TransCon-based products for other therapeutic areas and markets.

This position will be placed in The International Markets region, which is a key strategic endeavour by Ascendis to expand our global footprint in partnership with indirect affiliates across the globe including Canada, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East, South Africa, Asia and Oceania.

The role
As Project Coordinator you will play a high impact role within the International Markets team primarily supporting the upcoming launch of our innovative TransCon CNP treatment for achondroplasia, as well as our in-line treatments for adult hypoparathyroidism and pediatric growth hormone deficiency. The role will be acting as primary liaison with international partners, overseeing critical processes and coordinating event logistics for key projects to ensure operational excellence in the region. This position will cover the delivery of key projects and initiatives relating to the successful launch and lifecycle management of our portfolio. It will also foster the successful candidate and provide the opportunity to develop their commercial capabilities supporting the International Markets leadership team.

You will report to the VP of International Markets and work closely with the respective Heads of International Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access & Business Operations. The role should be based in a market where we have an Ascendis European office (with a preference for the UK or Denmark). This is expected to be a remote role that may require some travel (~20%).  Flexibility in work hours will be necessary to accommodate global time zones.

Your Key Responsibilities will be

Internal and Partner Liaison

o   Build direct relationships with partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders

o   Manage calendarization of both internal & external meetings

o   Maintain a tracker of key partner cross functional contacts

Manage the Ascendis International Partner Portal (AIPP)

o   Establish a portal catalogue to detail content accessible to our partners for Marketing, Market Access and Medical Affairs

o   Maintain quality collateral provision including uploading/deleting content as new materials become available

o   Work with our IT department to ensure that partner portal licences are appropriately allocated/managed

Logistics management for key Internal & External meetings

o   Establish trackers to detail meeting attendees

o   Ensure appropriate meeting rooms and catering are booked/coordinated

o   Oversee invitation letters to support partner VISA applications

o   Coordinate speaker briefing meetings & showreel presentations

Brand Management

o   Collect key local promotional and medical materials to build virtual library of local assets and highlight the global footprint of our organisation

o   Support collection and dissemination of market insights and coordination of market research initiatives

Budget/Agency Management

o   Raise Purchase orders and manage the accrual process with finance

o   Maintain an ongoing budget tracker

o   Support contracting and appointment of agencies

Qualifications and Skills

  • Communications or Business university graduate
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
