What will you be doing?
By focusing on creative and innovative visual storytelling you will:
- Create and deliver visuals for various communication touch points: social media posts, marketing videos, printed materials, presentations and training courses.
- Combine typography, color, illustrations, photography and design elements, crafting compelling designs to capture attention, convey messages effectively leaving a lasting impression.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements, target audiences, and desired outcomes while integrating feedback from multiple stakeholders and coming up with exceptional solutions.
- Participate in project brainstorming and discovery meetings, thinking creatively on how graphic design can help and support conveying ideas and concepts.
- Work to balance aesthetic appeal with functionality, keeping audience perspective in mind while designing for accessibility, clarity, and engagement.
- Develop and execute creative concepts and communicate key messages and narratives using demonstrated expertise with visual design in printed collaterals and digital platforms.
- Ensure all design work aligns with visual identity guidelines and upholds a cohesive brand identity across all communications.
- Handle and organize working files, export visuals, adjust formats and file sizes as needed.
- Support the motion graphic designer in the creation of assets.
Please note that this is not a UI/UX position.
What do we expect?
- 3 to 5 years of multi-disciplinary experience in graphic design.
- Fluent in English.
- Eligible to work and currently residing in the Netherlands. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
- A degree in a design-related field is preferred.
- Strong foundational graphic design skills: composition, shape, form, color, typography, branding.
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools. Knowledge of Figma is a plus.
- Experience in printing and in working with accessibility in mind is a plus.
- Illustration, animation and motion design skills are a plus.
- Ability to develop and execute creative concepts and communicate key messages and narratives using demonstrated expertise with visual design in printed collateral and digital platforms.
- Ability to ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and upholds a cohesive brand identity across all communications ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and design standards.
- Good interpersonal skills, organization, and ability to coordinate/collaborate with diverse work styles and personalities.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while contributing to the team's dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Solid understanding of print and digital production processes and file delivery.

Our office is located in a beautiful historic building in the Jordaan in Amsterdam. We currently work in a hybrid model.
