Credit Intern - Summer 2025

Position Summary

The Credit department is seeking an Intern to assist the team specifically with credit research and structured finance surveillance as it relates to the team’s recurring responsibilities.

• Work with both Credit Research and Structured Finance Surveillance departments to analyze more than 1,000 Limited Partners “LPs” that exist in Assured’s growing Subscription Finance business
• Reconcile within Excel overlapping LPs that have different naming conventions
• Create unique identifiers for LPs that can be mapped to Assured’s new Subscription Finance surveillance system
• Identify the parent-relationship of each LP, using the following tools: S&P Capital IQ, Moody’s, Bloomberg, Private Equity International, Google
• Create clear and concise records of the LP/parent-relationship for senior members of Credit Research and Structured Finance Surveillance teams
• Attend all meetings with Management Information System (“MIS”) related to Assured’s new Subscription Finance surveillance system
• Attend all Credit Committees related to new Subscription Finance business

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting or business related major preferred but not required
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

The salary for the position is expected to be from $28 per hour to $32 per hour. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast (Tuesday) and lunch (Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events.

Note: A housing stipend may be available for interns who live outside of the New York metropolitan area and move to the New York metropolitan area for the internship, subject to certain conditions.
