About the role

Our Business Intelligence team transforms complex data into actionable insights and impactful reporting. We empower clients and internal teams with the metrics, analytics, reports, and visualizations needed to make informed decisions and shape strategies that drive meaningful growth. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in modeling and analyzing large datasets to uncover valuable insights and deliver data-driven recommendations that inform strategic decisions. Partnering closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will interpret complex data, optimize data infrastructure, and drive efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives on transforming data into compelling stories, collaborating with diverse teams, delivering actionable reporting, and excelling in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Engage with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define analytics requirements and metrics
• Build robust, exec-facing dashboards to support key business decisions across the organization
• Use data modeling, statistics, and other analytical techniques to extract and analyze data from large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to drive insights
• Partner with BI Data Engineers to model and transform data in a scalable way
• Develop and manage our data analytics platform Looker

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 4 years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, including proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
• Proven expertise in writing, optimizing, and utilizing SQL queries within a business context
• Familiarity with infrastructure components, ETL processes, and reporting/analytic tools and environments
• Strong ability to manage and execute fast-paced, dynamic projects with a high degree of organization and independence
• Effective communication skills for presenting analysis results to stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and influencing decision-making across teams

• Experience building dashboards and analyses using tools like Hex, Jupyter, or other reproducible notebook platforms
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and statistical modeling
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across departments

• 8,000 brands powered by Attentive sent over 2.2 billion text messages over Cyber Week 2023 (Black Friday/Cyber Monday) representing a growth of 31% from 2022
• We sent 32 billion SMS messages in 2023, up 32% YoY. That’s an average of 87 million per day
• Our production cluster contains over 18,000 containers which serve 200+ services
• Our streaming services process over 80 billion events per month

• We have access to Python, Snowflake, SQL, DBT for analysis
• Our data visualization tool is Looker 
• Our product backend is Java and Python microservices coupled with Spark, Kinesis, Airflow, Snowflake, and Postgres, all hosted on AWS
• Our team supports stakeholders from Client Strategy, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Designers and the Leadership Team

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,120 - $155,000 annually + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
