Your Impact
This is an individual contributor role for a professional over the road driver. The role supports helping AXON’s Corporate Fleet Operations team ensuring safe, transportation of AXON’s Domestic RoadShow vehicles and equipment from one customer location to the next. You’ll provide crucial support to Axon’s Roadshow team, assist in set up and tear down of demonstration products and provide strengthening support to AXON’s marketing team. The daily role’s primary duties include transporting Axon’s tractor trailer combination among customer agencies, assisting in set up and tear down of Axon marketing gear, reporting on mileage, fuel consumption, expenses, etc. as required by the FMCSA, ensuring vehicles follow proper preventative maintenance guidelines, assisting the marketing and Roadshow management in all areas necessary to effectively delivery on daily goals. All candidates maintain a professional attitude, be customer centric, work toward common goals, and demonstrate flexibility in a changing, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
Location: Scottsdale, AZ, Travel 100%
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Fleet Operations.
Direct reports: 0

  • Transport Axon’s branded truck and trailer combination among departmental agencies whom have prescheduled a Roadshow visit.
  • Assist in setting up and tearing down the roadshow marketing gear including, canopies, televisions, tables, chairs, etc.
  • Submit all required regulatory paperwork as necessary including driving logs, fuel records, repair receipts, tolling information, etc.
  • Coordinates, ensuring all necessary vehicle repairs are completed in a timely manner for all Roadshow vehicles.
  • Communicate and coordinate with cross functional partners to clean, prep and transport vehicles representing Axon’s Marketing team.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3+ years of proven and referenceable experience as a professional driver.
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to work within a team as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to all USDOT and FMCSA provisions. Applicant must successfully pass a DOT physical and receive a DOT medical card.
  • Experience with tour travel, set-up and tear-down preferred.
  • Class A CDL required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
