The Communications and Public Relations Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our company's reputation and image through effective communications and social media strategies supported by targeted public relations efforts. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication and social media plans that align with our marketing and business objectives and engage our target audience across various platforms. This position requires someone with a passion for building strong brands and impactful social media campaigns, experience crafting compelling messages and the ability to manage relationships with agencies and internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage relationship with Axonify’s Public Relations agency of record, including monthly and quarterly deliverables
• Develop and execute a strategic communication plan to enhance Axonify’s brand image and reputation and elevate our customers’ profiles through media & pubic relations opportunities
• Create engaging content for various channels including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts and other content as needed
• Develop and execute a social media strategy that adheres to budget, increases engagement with the right audiences and maximizes impact
• Monitor media coverage and social media conversations to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks and develop appropriate responses
• Set up and execute social listening searches, set targets and prepare dashboards and reports to demonstrate progress in reaching target personas and accounts within Axonify’s total attainable market (TAM)
• Increase awareness for the company and our products and services, while delivering key insights to internal teams
• Support agency in generating public relations coverage and opportunities in North American and International markets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide communication support for various initiatives, such as product launches, benchmarking reports, corporate announcements and more
• Partner with stakeholders across the marketing team to build public relations and influencer strategies and programs that support the team’s collective achievement of marketing OKRs and annual pipeline and bookings targets 
• Manage and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, influencers and key stakeholders to secure media coverage and maximize strategic brand exposure
• Coordinate and lead response to media requests by working with subject matter experts
• Provide insights to the marketing team about the industry, competitors, and relevant topics found online
• Seek out opportunities to add Axonify’s position and expertise to online conversations within our target verticals
• When required, present findings, reports and suggestions to internal account teams and clients

• Minimum of 4-5 years of direct work experience in a communications and/or public relations capacity
• In-house and public relations Agency experience an asset
• Strong portfolio showcasing excellent written and verbal communication skills, including press releases, articles and social media content
• Strong knowledge and understanding of social media channels, monitoring and engagement tools
• Understanding of the human resources (HR) tech ecosystem and familiarity with the competitor market
• Business-to-business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Tech public relations experience an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of media directories, newswires, monitoring services and other public relations tools
• Understanding and familiarity with brand building, brand management and communications marketing strategies
• Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet deadlines
• Energy, empathy, the ability to collaborate, be self-motivated and results-oriented
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to be a proven team player
