Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (8 month Contract)

As a member of the Axonify Quality Assurance team, this role contributes to the overall company strategy by validating that the application meets design specifications and requirements. As part of the development team, this role takes ownership of QA, utilizing a balanced approach to manual and automated testing and collaborating with developers to deliver high-quality products.

This is an 8 month contract opportunity.

• Develop a solid understanding of the Axonify platform.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Lead and facilitate QA blitzes with development and QA teams to ensure thorough feature testing.
• Conduct regression testing of release and ensure high-quality production releases.
• Help drive the evolution of our automation framework, architecting and implementing enhancements that streamline test creation and maximize efficiency for the entire QA team.
• Work within the team to identify, recommend, develop, implement and maintain quality assurance testing processes and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and techniques to automate tasks, improve code quality, or optimize software performance.
• Other duties as required.

• Post secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or CS related field.
• 7+ years of QA experience.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies is required. Candidates should be proficient in both areas, as our testing approach utilizes a balanced 50/50 split.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Experience writing clear and detailed test plans and test cases.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of RESTFUL Web Services and API testing.
• Experience in cross-browser testing of web applications, UI/UX testing including Android and iOS applications.
• Experience with continuous integration, build and release automation, automated test suites.
• Experience with setup and teardown of test cases and test suites using TestNG.
• Proven work experience within a fast-paced software environment.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins and JIRA.
