Job Summary:

 

The Education Coordinator will act as a strong collaborator to develop and design educational presentations and materials for the Field Team. You will also work alongside and collaborate with the Account Management and Field Sales Management teams to cultivate product knowledge and elevate overall company sales.  

 

As part of the Beauty Barrage Education Team, you will be responsible for delivering educational content, presentations, and LIVE trainings across multiple categories of beauty. You will also have the exciting opportunity to work with team executives and brand partners to create and deliver educational programs that are innovative, creative, engaging, and infused with the DNA of Beauty Barrage.

 

The objective of the Education Coordinator is to equip each Field Team employee with the proper knowledge, tools, and confidence to sell, train, and educate in-store. As an Education Coordinator, you will report to the VP of Account Management.

 

Local candidates must be able to work on-site at our Newport Beach corporate office.


Job Duties:
  • Create education materials including Education modules, Education videos, rally call agendas, etc.
  • Present innovative and engaging live education webinars to the Field Team
  • Strategize to elevate in-store presence, image, and education through Education materials and one-on-one coaching sessions with the Field Team
  • Review survey trends in preparation for Field Team rally calls and collect additional feedback as needed for weekly/bi-weekly client calls. 
  • Track the performance of the Field Team and partner with Field Sales Management to provide additional coaching for under-performers.
  • Track completed brand training across all brands as assigned. 
  • Ensure strong relationships and collaboration with clients to support foundational education, launches, and new product trainings. 
  • Prepare necessary Education communication to the Field Team to distribute via email and Beauty Barrage’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain Beauty Barrage’s LMS by updating brand groups, education modules, communication, and answering the Field Team’s questions.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail education, retail (selling floor), and sales leadership/management in the beauty industry 
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage various priorities and change directions quickly 
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with both the corporate team and the Field Team 
  • Ability to retain detailed information for multiple brands in different categories 
  • Strong selling & demo skills, customer service, communication, relationship building, and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent ideation and problem-solving skills (i.e., to address low sales or negative product feedback).  
  • Strong awareness of product knowledge, training, selling, and brand messaging
  • Easily builds lasting relationships with other individuals and groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva.

$27 - $30 an hour
Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.
