The ideal Software Quality Assurance (SQA) candidate will be comfortable working closely with Systems, Software and Hardware Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) , Certification Engineers, DER’s, Configuration Management and Safety Engineers to ensure that all aspects of the development and certification of the BETA Technologies, Inc, programs are maintained and followed.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:- Airborne & Production (SQA) Activities and Auditing
- SQA process improvements and updates
- Auditing of the Software Life Cycle Processes and Data
- Management of Software Quality Assurance Records
- Reporting progress and risks to stakeholders
- Support the AS9100 quality system requirements
- Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for internal nonconformities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:- B.S. in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or quality discipline
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace systems development lifecycle in accordance with certification processes such as DO-178C (and supplements), DO-254, ARP4754A, ISO9001, and/or AS9100
- Familiarity with FAA Part 33, 27, 25, 23 or EVTOL regulations
- Google G-Suite including Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Charts,Slack, Polarion, JIRA
- Superb problem solving, team communications, attention to detail, analytical and methodical skills
Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:- Working experience with Software Part and Installation Conformity Inspections in accordance with FAA Orders 8110.49A
- Enthusiasm for Electric Aviation and Passion for Aviation Safety through quality in both design, software development, and manufacturing
