A Better Opportunity 

Developing the company’s execution strategy for whole loans, mortgage servicing rights, and securitized pools, this role also involves overseeing a pipeline of mortgage loans and hedges. The ideal candidate will efficiently navigate data to support department and firm-wide initiatives while influencing executive decision-making by providing key market insights. Additionally, this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive strategy and optimize tactics related to capital markets.

• Quickly learn the firm’s hedge analytics platform and proprietary LOS, and become proficient at managing a locked pipeline of mortgage loans. 
• Facilitate ratesheet generation, reconcile reports on daily position movements and P&L, and assist with settlements of bulk and mini-bulk trades. 
• Build data visualization dashboards to understand key pipeline trends and characteristics. 
• Facilitate execution of loan sales and analyze results to drive actionable improvements to achieve best execution. 
• Perform reconciliation of TBA hedge position and margin calls daily. 
• Facilitate business development with new investors by managing the onboarding process between all stakeholders, both internal and external. 
• Aggregate, summarize, and opine on mortgage market color and street research for internal review. 
• Ad hoc SQL requests. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role 
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL 
• Python a plus 
• Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights. 
• Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems independently and in a team setting. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to self-manage project completion amidst frequent interruptions by market-driven or time sensitive tasks.
