ASD Assessment Psychologist - Reach America Program - Part-Time

 Empower Change, Give Back, Make an Impact. Bloomwell Autism Therapy's Reach America program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Autism Assessment Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support underserved communities in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, by conducting vital autism assessments for patients currently facing long waitlists. This position involves monthly travel to either Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska, to perform autism assessments for the community's extensive waitlists, addressing the urgent need for timely diagnoses.

• Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children currently facing long waitlists.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate developmental, cognitive, and behavioral aspects.
• Provide clear and concise assessment reports, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
• Offer guidance and support to families throughout the assessment process.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in autism assessment and intervention.
• Support Nebraska communities through assessments 2-4 days per month.

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with a focus on child psychology or related field OR Pediatric Psychiatrist.
• Willingness to obtain license in the state of Nebraska.
• Experience in conducting autism assessments and familiarity with standardized assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to supporting underserved communities and reducing healthcare disparities.
• Ability to travel to Nebraska once per month for 2-4 days to conduct diagnostic assessments.
