Installation and Electronic Hardware Manager

Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.

We are currently seeking an Installation and Electronic Hardware Manager to join our team in Christchurch. This role will provide leadership and support for the installation and electronic hardware teams, offering technical specialist knowledge on the installation of metering equipment and supporting the testing and acceptance processes for new metering equipment. The team will act as the technical authority for metering equipment and installations across Bluecurrent's fleet 

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have an Engineering Degree (Electrical) or a similar qualification, along with 5-10 years of experience in utilities. You should have experience in facilitating project outcomes and delivering change. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You will bring strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through the ability to achieve outcomes, and planning ability, particularly with regards to organizing your own and your team’s work. Additionally, you should have the ability to take challenges head-on and come through successfully, and have leadership experience
