Our growing and dynamic UK team is looking for a senior, experienced Senior Director of Production & Client Services to oversee production and project delivery across UK and European markets. This hybrid role blends departmental leadership (50%), executive production oversight (25%), and senior client service management (25%), ensuring high-caliber project execution and client satisfaction.
As a Senior Director of Production & Client Services, you have extensive experience in leading and producing integrated campaigns and experiential activations across multiple markets. You can manage multiple priority projects simultaneously, balancing the big picture with hands-on execution. You have a proven track record in client services, ensuring seamless project delivery, organic account growth, and strong client relationships. You excel in leading teams, overseeing budgets, and ensuring operational efficiency within an agency setting.
What you will do…
Production & Operations Management
- Oversee all production and delivery of UK and European projects, ensuring feasibility, quality, and budget adherence.
- Provide departmental leadership and process evolution to streamline production workflows and improve efficiency.
- Champion best-in-class production methodologies, ensuring strict adherence to BMF’s key event documents (budgets, activation decks, recap decks, run of shows, workback schedules, and vendor contact lists).
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure cash flow planning, cost control, and project profitability.
- Develop and implement resource planning strategies, balancing full-time and freelance talent against project pipelines.
- Lead production staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing mentorship to cultivate top-tier talent.
- Provide senior production oversight for major brand activations, events, and multi-channel campaigns.
Senior Client Services & Business Growth
- Act as the senior point of contact for all UK and European clients, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.
- Partner with Account, Creative, and Strategy teams to ensure projects align with client business objectives and brand vision.
- Lead new business development initiatives, supporting pitches, onboarding new clients, and fostering organic account growth.
- Identify and execute strategies to optimize UK team revenue and profitability.
- Serve as senior counsel to clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring the highest level of service and delivery.
- Regularly update global leadership on UK market activities, challenges, and opportunities.
Pre-Contract Production Support & Pitches
- Contribute to the development of creative proposals and RFP responses, ensuring executional and financial feasibility.
- Lead the pricing and budget development for proposals, working alongside Creative and Strategy teams.
- Support venue scouting, vendor selection, and procurement strategies, leveraging deep market knowledge.
- Provide oversight on talent and influencer procurement, ensuring alignment with brand activations.
- Collaborate with BMF’s global teams to integrate best practices across markets.
- 10+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, and integrated campaigns (agency-side preferred).
- Senior-level production experience, overseeing large-scale activations (£1M+ budgets).
- Strong background in client services and account management, serving as the primary client point of contact.
- Proven budget management and financial acumen, ensuring project profitability and adherence to cost parameters.
- Exceptional leadership and team mentorship skills, fostering growth and operational excellence.
- Deep knowledge of venues, vendors, and industry best practices across the UK and European markets.
- Ability to develop and communicate experiential creative concepts and campaign strategies.
- Strong experience in staff resourcing and planning, ensuring team efficiency across concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and Keynote (WorkBook knowledge is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
