Job Description

We are currently looking for a Director, Advanced Analytics to join our growing team! In this role, you will optimize sales campaign performance and provide actionable insights to inform critical business decisions in a fast-paced, competitive telecom environment. You will be required to have expertise in advanced analytics, speech and text analytics, propensity modeling, and data-driven strategies to drive business growth.

As a Director, Advanced Analytics, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Apply advanced modeling techniques to understand customer behaviors, preferences, and lifetime value, enabling targeted engagement and retention strategies
  • Develop analytics to enhance sales channel effectiveness and identify growth opportunities in underperforming markets
  • Leverage text and speech analytics to extract insights from customer interactions, refine call drivers, and address root causes of customer issues to improve operations and marketing
  • Build and implement propensity models to predict customer acquisition likelihood and churn, driving proactive engagement strategies
  • Utilize machine learning, predictive modeling, and NLP to forecast trends, analyze customer preferences, and enhance competitive positioning
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to understand pricing and promotional elasticity, informing key stakeholder decisions
  • Assess market and competitive dynamics that influence customer migration and switching behavior
  • Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscapes to uncover opportunities for differentiation and growth
  • Collaborate with network and field operations teams to evaluate their impact on marketing and sales performance
  • Partner with data engineering and IT to ensure data pipeline optimization, accuracy, and accessibility
  • Develop advanced analytics frameworks for evaluating ROI, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
  • Implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor and improve campaign and customer acquisition performance
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within telecom or a related industry, with a proven track record of driving impactful data-driven strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field ((Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • Are proficient in tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and speech analytics platforms (e.g., Call Miner, Verint, NICE)
  • Have expertise in building and deploying propensity models for customer acquisition and churn prediction
  • Possess strong skills in machine learning, predictive modeling, and NLP techniques
  • Excel at translating complex data into actionable insights and establishing performance metricsDemonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence teams and stakeholders
  • Bring critical thinking abilities and in-depth knowledge of telecom industry trends, including customer acquisition, churn reduction, pricing strategies, and digital marketing
