Job Description

Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team! Brightspeed is seeking a proactive and organized Program Manager to support our Local Marketing and Partnerships team. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating and managing the marketing projects and initiatives across our regions. You will work closely with the Local Marketing Managers and the Senior Program Manager to ensure the smooth execution and successful delivery of local marketing programs. 

As A Program Manager Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:  

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing programs and strategies across different regions, ensuring they align with the company's overall objectives 
  • Assist in planning and executing local events and sponsorships, working closely with Local Marketing Managers and Senior Program Managers 
  • Facilitate vendor onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and operational requirements 
  • Manage accounts payable and oversee financial transactions related to events and partnerships 
  • Negotiate and finalize event and partnership contracts and agreements. 
  • Collect, analyze, and report on event data to measure effectiveness and return on investment 
  • Create presentations for cross-functional peers and leadership, highlighting event outcomes and strategic insights 
  • Develop and document efficient and scalable processes for event and partnership management. 
  • Coordinate with event staffing and logistics agencies to ensure seamless event execution. 
  • Manage event inventory, including giveaways and collateral, to support each activation 
  • Maintain an event schedule, ensuring visibility and coordination with cross-functional teams 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to recommend improvements to event strategies 
  • Monitor and report on the progress of marketing projects, identifying any potential issues and proposing solutions to ensure timely completion 
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of local marketing initiatives 
  • Support the Senior Program Manager in overseeing the operational aspects of the marketing department, including budget tracking and performance analysis 
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to promote a cohesive working environment 

 

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in project or event management, preferably in a marketing or partnership context. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. 
  • Ability to travel as required to support event execution across multiple states. 
  • Familiarity with project management software like Asana and JIRA. 
  • Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross-functional groups. 
  • Ability to travel at times to support event execution throughout a multi-state territory.  
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR check may be required) 

 

BONUS POINTS FOR: 

  • Agency experience in event or experiential marketing 
  • PMP or PMO certification 
  • Telecom experience
