About the Role:
We are looking for a Program Manager, based in Hong Kong, to lead the operations for one of Brinc’s web3 accelerator programs in Hong Kong. The program identifies high potential projects, intellectual properties, and/or startups, and provides them with the support through a comprehensive training curriculum to develop their solution and attract investment. The Program Manager is a core role in the Brinc business and is responsible for ensuring the operational success of Brinc accelerators from startup sourcing through to Demo Day. This includes event management, organising and maintaining program data, building and scheduling the accelerator events, execution of Demo Day, as well as recruiting, hiring and training an Associate team.Program Managers work closely with and report to the Managing Director/Program Director, who is responsible for non-operational work, such as accelerator strategy, building and managing relationships with relevant corporate partners and mentors, startup sourcing, and investing in game-changing companies.All Program Managers will have deep interactions with Brinc founders, portfolio companies, leading industry partners, top-tier venture capitalists and advisors, providing an opportunity to vastly expand networks and work with thought leaders from around the world.
What You Will Do:- Collaborate with our program partners (clients) to execute the accelerator curriculum and help scale the next generation of disruptive Web3 companies
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan that includes scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation to support startups effectively.
- Ensure the program follows best practices and executes upon planned curriculum
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the accelerator program and its impact on startups / program partners
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the accelerator program, ensuring smooth execution of all processes from startup sourcing to Demo Day.
- Organize and manage events such as workshops, networking sessions, and Demo Days that align with business objectives and enhance the startup ecosystem
- Regularly engage with participating startups to understand their needs, provide guidance, and help them set achievable goals
- Foster a collaborative environment among startups, mentors, and investors to create a supportive community;
- Connect startups with mentors, advisors, and industry experts to foster learning and growth within the cohort
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to identify collaboration opportunities that can benefit startups
- Recruit, hire and manage the Associate team
About You:- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in fast-paced environments in a related field such as consulting, venture capital, startup management or business management
- A deep understanding of the Web3 landscape, including blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and relevant market dynamics is crucial for providing tailored support to startups
- Personal involvement and engagement within the web3 space
- Strong interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital
- Experience with operations and event planning
- Effective communicator and able to collaborate across departments and stakeholders
- Self driven individual that ensures accountability of their work and the work of others
- Ability to plan and prioritize to meet program objectives and organizational goals
- Ability to quickly adapt to different situations and stakeholders
- Experience in driving continuous process improvement and operational efficiency
- Previous involvement in startup accelerators or venture capital firms is highly beneficial for understanding the unique challenges faced by early-stage companies
- Fluent in English (Cantonese and Mandarin is considered a plus)
