Quality Assurance Analyst - Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to end users. You will contribute to the development of our innovative software products by applying your expertise in testing and quality assurance.

What You’ll Do:

Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, and plans for software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing across different platforms and environments.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

• Identify, track, and report defects, inconsistencies, and issues in the software.
• Collaborate with the development team to facilitate effective issue resolution.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the software meets quality standards and user requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and maintainability of code.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the testing lifecycle.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defects.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.

• Entry level experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Basic knowledge of a programming language, testing and project management tools (Selenium, Postman, C#, Java or JavaScript, Asana)
• Familiarity with developing test scenarios and organizing test plans for larger scale projects.
• Automation experience would be excellent but not required!
• Experience within Fintech is nice to have!
