Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Location Manager

The Branch Location Manager for a locally established Durable Medical Equipment (DME) in Rochester. NY is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the location, providing leadership and coordination of services to clinical and non-clinical personnel and driving growth through exceptional patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the growth of the Branch.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency by leading the work and direction of your team.
  • Ensure that the services provided via the branch location are done so in accordance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those put forth by: CMS, Department of Health, DOT, FDA, OSHA, and the company’s accreditation organization.
  • Looks for process improvement opportunities and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Evaluate and supervise employee performance.
  • Staff and train new team members.
  • Drive growth of the location by providing exceptional care to referral sources and patients alike.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of necessary equipment.
  • Understand and promote the products and services offered to improve patient outcomes.
  • Drive the organization's strict adherence to an employee safety and compliance program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • 2+ years DME experience required
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multitask
  • Handles pressure well
  • Ability to manage, support, and make decisions
  • Great customer service skills
  • Knowledgeable on all Oxygen and CPAP equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed
