We're on a mission to turn ordinary into extraordinary by transforming everyday items into style statement accessories. To keep up with our growth, we’re building a 10-million-euro manufacturing facility in Kaunas, set to produce 40,000 items daily.

ABOUT THE POSITION


We’re on the hunt for a part-time, local copywriter who can bring BURGA’s signature tone of voice to life in the French market. As a local copywriter, you’ll play a pivotal role in adapting our bold, stylish, and sassy messaging into your language, all while ensuring it feels natural and native to your market.


This isn’t just translation; it’s transcreation. You’ll work closely with BURGA’s in-house creative team, receiving briefs for each project to ensure our messaging resonates locally while staying on-brand. Expect to craft everything from ad campaigns and social media posts to product descriptions, email copy, and beyond—all with BURGA’s trademark flair.


The role requires approximately 5-10 hours per week (sometimes less, sometimes more), with the workload varying depending on current projects and tasks.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


- Localize BURGA’s English copy into French for various channels, including web, social, email, and ads.

- Transcribe BURGA’s bold and empowering tone of voice into your local language while making it feel effortlessly native to the French audience.

- Adapt creative campaigns, ensuring they resonate culturally and linguistically with your audience.

- Work closely with the in-house copywriting team to execute briefs with precision and creativity.

- Maintain consistency with BURGA’s brand guidelines across all materials.

- Stay ahead of cultural trends in your market to ensure BURGA remains relevant and cutting-edge.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


- At least 2-3 years of professional copywriting (preferably eCommerce) or transcreation experience, with a proven track record of delivering impactful, creative work.

- Strong ability to adapt a brand’s unique tone of voice into your local language while making it feel native and authentic.

- Familiarity with crafting diverse types of copy—ad campaigns, emails, social media posts, product descriptions, and more.

- Deep understanding of the local culture and market trends in France, with the ability to craft relatable, fashion-forward messaging.

- A self-starter who thrives under deadlines and delivers exceptional work on time, every time.

- A passion for creativity, individuality, and stylish self-expression that shines through in every word.

- Exceptional written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in French language, with outstanding writing skills in both.
