Our Solution:
Developers and owners no longer need to run building wiring or install in-unit hardware. Property managers can grant building access, revoke permissions, and review entry logs from an online dashboard. Residents can open doors from their smartphones, issue visitor access, and see who is trying to enter the building.

ButterflyMX is seeking a Manager of Business Development based on-site at our New York City headquarters, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after ramp. The role will have great influence over how ButterflyMX runs our prospecting and outbound lead generation efforts. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our business development team, impact revenue growth, and create a thriving culture where people love to win. Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Elevate: Drive the strategy, execution, and operations behind our outbound business development efforts, ensuring we generate high-quality pipeline.
  • Coach & Inspire: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of BDRs—fostering a culture of continuous improvement, motivation, and success.
  • Drive Performance: Own the team’s collective quota, implement performance strategies, and keep the team on track to exceed goals.
  • Optimize & Scale: Refine prospecting and outreach processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Innovate & Improve: Enhance sales tech, tools, and workflows to maximize BDR success and job satisfaction.
  • Train & Develop: Conduct ad-hoc and planned training sessions that empower our BDRs to grow and perform at their best.
  • Lead from the Front: Actively participate in daily call power hours – setting the pace and providing real time coaching.
  • Proven Leader: You have 2+ years of experience managing high-performing SDR/BDR teams (if for a proptech company – huge plus!) and know how to build a winning culture.
  • Hands-On & Accountable: You take ownership—not just of your work, but of your team’s success—and lead by example every day.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating sales engagement platforms, data tools, and Salesforce to drive efficiency and results.
  • Outbound Expert: You live and breathe outbound prospecting, with deep knowledge of cold calling, email outreach, and social selling best practices.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Whether it’s coaching your team or connecting with prospects, your written and verbal communication skills set you apart.
  • Fast & Strategic: You move with urgency but never cut corners—always looking for ways to improve processes and make things more efficient.
