• Support any assigned unit/s, within the organization, in the timely administration of the Competency Training & Assurance program.
• Prepare regular reports on Training & Competence progress and compliance status for each unit assigned. The use of Excel and PowerPoint to produce quality reports will be expected.
• Report the effectiveness of tasks completed within the System when there has been an update of the software. To ensure the design/change intent has been achieved.
• Maintain personnel system files for all local employees ensuring accuracy and confidentiality is maintained.
• Support and coach the ONE trainee(s) as may be assigned,
• Delegate as appropriate in a supportive – mentor/coaching framework.
• Have an awareness of the financial implications and functions of the Training & Competence department, with an awareness of the Budget.
• College degree or other relevant education or background.
• Relevant experience may compensate formal education.
• Ideally 5-year relevant working experience.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluent in both English & French.
