The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to advance your career in a professional services organisation, providing remote services to customers, covering the entire F5 product portfolio including NGINX over a variety of environments, including private & public cloud and enterprise data centres.
You will perform recurring engagements where the customers require regular consulting resources, along with one-time engagements. These engagements may come in the form of greenfield design and configuration, software updates and operational tasks.
As a member of our Global consulting team, you will have access to industry leading training facilities, hands on labsand an interface into a wealth of information through our Domain Expert groups. If there's a required technology where you have limited exposure to, or a simply want a more detailed understanding of, you will access to the resources toprovide the knowledge.
• Deliver onsite and remote technical services to the customers.
• Aggressively and effectively communicate with both local and global consulting teams and professional coordinators.
• Maintain a level of proficiency of our products and technologies, though proactive and formal training.
• Proactively see opportunities to improve products and technologies, through proactive and formal training.
• Study hard to obtain F5 Certificates
• Most importantly, keep the customers satisfied, through demonstrating strong technical knowledge andphenomenal communication.
• Application delivery controlling / load balancing exposure new bullet
• Linux System Administrator capabilities, including package and dependency installations; logged into andevaluation; IP security/ firewalling
• Linux CL, I network and application troubleshooting tools, such as ping, TCP dump, SSL dump, dig, kill, an AA peaand openssl
• PKI, and SSL /TLS behaviour
• IPV 4 and IPV 6 Nat, dynamic and static routing, firewalling
although not mandatory, having some knowledge and experience on the following would be an advantage
• Linux scripting in bash and, Perl
• OSI model (layer worn through 7)
• Coding in HTML, Python, PHP or similar languages
• Linux container and controller environments account comments it last docker, LCX and Kubernetes
• Orchestration and automation technologies such as AWS cloud formation, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, Puppet and Chef
• AWS and Azure cloud environments
• WAF principles / though “OWASP Top 10”
• NGINX, F5 BIG-IP ASM, LTM and GTM
