National Claims Manager

Camplify Holdings Limited (CHL): is a global adventure travel technology company. Formed in 2021, we encompass three travel brands: Camplify, PaulCamper, and MyWay.

Camplify: established in Newcastle, Australia, in 2015, is a peer-to-peer van-sharing platform operating throughout Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Spain. MyWay: set to launch in 2023, aims to offer a suite of insurance products to RV owners and hirers, equipping them with the confidence to fully engage in CHL Group’s peer-to-peer platforms.

Together, these brands form a global group dedicated to elevating outdoor experiences through scalable tech solutions, transforming the way people access the outdoors and explore the world.

The role:
As the National Claims Manager, you will report directly to senior management and oversee our claims operations. Your leadership will ensure excellence in claims management, driving efficiency and compliance in the handling of all claims incidents. You will work closely with various departments to uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction while managing risk and exposure effectively.

This is a brand new dynamic role that requires solid industry knowledge and expertise to mentor and guide your team in resolving automotive claims specifically for recreational vehicles. You will foster a collaborative environment and encourage best practices while implementing innovative solutions to improve our claims processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the claims team to deliver high-quality service to customers and clients.
  • Develop and implement effective claims strategies, processes, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of claims, ensuring regulatory compliance and proper documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee claims investigations and negotiate settlements in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on claims performance and trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement in claims handling processes and customer experience.
  • Work with external loss adjustors and third party claims providers etc to ensure service levels are maintained.

This role requires intermittent and scheduled travel including external client meetings, on-site event management and activations, exhibition/shows as well as conducting site visits.

  • Extensive experience in claims management, preferably within the insurance or automotive industries.
  • A proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in claims management software.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Capacity to handle complex claims and negotiations successfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Relevant certifications and /or degree in insurance or risk management are a plus.
