Position Summary

Momentus Capital is seeking a Finance Intern for Summer 2025 to strengthen its Treasury team in financial modeling and Treasury operational development projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community development and impact investing. The position will report to the Assistant Treasurer.

This is a fulltime internship from 6/2/2025-8/29/2025.

Essential Responsibilities

·       Utilize PowerBI/Excel to develop mid-long term business modeling to analyze the impact of business decisions on the organization’s bottom-line 

·       Develop model for potential new fund structures to support capital innovation

·       Assist in bank fee structure analysis

·       Assist in maintaining Treasury policy & procedures, capitalization strategy and tool box

·       Assist in daily Treasury operations

·       Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis

·       Undergraduate or graduate students in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields are welcome to apply. A minimum of 3 years of coursework towards a Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or related Master’s Degree, CFA, or CPA certification is a plus.

·       Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.

·       Desired qualities include a positive attitude, collaborative work style, strong work ethic, a learning mindset, and attention to detail.

·       Candidates should be capable of prioritizing competing requirements and managing different deadlines in a dynamic working environment.

The salary range for this position is $18 - $20 an hour.

This role is primarily remote with in office activities, must be able to go in when required (about once a month).
