🏢This is a Hybrid role, the Compliance Team works from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week. 

Compliance

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance function as a 12-month maternity cover. 

This varied role will cover a wide range of regulatory compliance areas at Capital on Tap. You will support in ensuring our monitoring, controls and horizon scanning remain robust as we continue to grow. 

Our Compliance function works closely with the business to ensure good outcomes without creating artificial barriers to growth. This role is suited to you if you enjoy a “hands on” and practical approach to meeting regulatory obligations through strong stakeholder partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with completing audit work in line with the firm's Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Assist with maintaining horizon scanning and completing implementation work on regulatory changes.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
  • Support in providing regulatory guidance to the firm.
  • Support the Compliance Team in carrying out compliance research and providing regulatory advice to the business.
  • Assist with other administrative and record keeping tasks that help the firm demonstrate and maintain regulatory compliance in the UK. 

We're Looking For

  • Experience working in a FCA regulated firm in a Compliance role.
  • Working knowledge of UK financial service regulations (FSMA, FCA Handbook, PSRs and EMRs).
  • Experience working in B2B lending, banking, payment services or electronic money is a plus.
  • Relevant compliance certification and/or an interest in working towards the same is desirable.
  • GDPR / PECR knowledge is a benefit.
