Senior Operations Manager

You will be responsible for handling the core of our business which is our captains. The Senior Operations Manager - 1P  will mainly be managing the key day-to-day activities and performance KPI for 1P fleet.

What you'll do:

Fleet Management: Oversee daily operations related to fleet management ensuring that the fleet is operating efficiently and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

P&L Management:  Monitoring revenues, costs, and expenses to ensure alignment with financial targets, analyzing financial trends, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives and drive efficient goal achievement.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet performance and fleet captains. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure that all fleet operations adhere to relevant safety, legal, and environmental regulations. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of fleet coordinators or assistants. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Fleet Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, and budget status to senior management. Highlight achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to fleet operations or captain relations in a timely and effective manner. Implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related role, with at least 5-7 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations, fleet maintenance, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
